About the Play
“En attendant Godot” was written by Samuel Beckett in Paris between October 1948 and January 1949. It was a period of mass migration in Europe. A wave of displaced people, refugees, exiles and immigrants flooded the continent. The play has lost none of its actuality and was the source of inspiration of the installation “Waiting for Godot”.
